Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 32 oz.

Coconut oil is extracted from the coconut palm.  It is used as a staple in many dishes and as a natural skin care regimen.  I used virgin coconut oil for cooking, as a daily moisturizer and as a diaper rash barrier protection.  Tropical Traditions has sent me a 32 ounce quart of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil for a product review and to host a giveaway.  I am under no obligation to review this product, nor I’m I entitled to host a product giveaway. Since I’m a frequent user of coconut oil, I’m able to determine whether or not Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is able to live up to its expectations. I have used and tested the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil in several of my favorite dishes, as a moisturizer and as a diaper rash ointment.

I used Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil in some of my favorite dishes, such as pancakes, stir fry vegetables, and baked poultry.  I used just a small amount of oil to grease the stir fry pan, pancake and baking tray.  My dishes came out tasting delicious.  I enjoyed the mild flavor of the coconut oil, and it did not over power all the other flavors of the dishes that I had prepared. Moisturizer Coconut oil can be used as a natural moisturizer for the skin.  I applied just a small amount to the palm of my hand and massage it onto my skin after showering.  I also applied it to my kids skin to keep them smooth and moist. I have added the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to my natural home remedy hair conditioner recipe.  I also use a small amount daily to moisturize both my hair and scalp. I am very much impressed with the results.  My hair has extra volume, extra sheen, is healthy looking and there is no presence of dry scalp or dandruff. I also use the Tropical Tradition Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil to sooth my nipples after nursing my infant.  If your infant gets a little bit of the coconut oil into his/her mouth, don’t panic.  The virgin coconut oil is safe for ingestion, 100% natural and free of toxin.  You can also use it to massage the infant’s gum during teething.

Diaper Rash Barrier Protection

I cloth diaper my infant exclusively, and currently use virgin coconut oil as a diaper rash barrier protection.  I have tried regular cloth diaper ointments in the past.  However, they are filled with too many added ingredients.  As a result, they irritate my infant’s skin and create a film over his diapers, causing them to repel over time.  They are also extremely expensive. Tropical Tradition Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil conditions the skin and repels water away from the diaper area. Best of all, it is 100% natural, organic, economical and free of toxins.  My infant has never had a diaper rash since I started using virgin coconut oil.  It is also safe for cloth diapers, because it devolves easily in the wash and prevents build up. I am very happy that I was given the opportunity to review Tropical Tradition Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.  I am very impressed with the overall results.  I like the fact that the virgin coconut oil can be used in many different ways and will be making it a permanent staple within my home.  Tropical Tradition Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil truly embodies all the qualities of a product that is economical, 100% natural, and free of toxins.
